What is Cotton?                    
                                                                                         
Peru has a long history in textile traditions that goes back more than 8.000 years in cities throughout Peru like Chavín, Paracas and Inca these cites and the civilizations that flourish used raw material like cotton, whose fibers were dyed with natural colors and woven finely with special skills of this time period.
 
In Peru there are two main types of cotton for the textile industry the Tangüis cotton and the Pima cotton.
The Tangüis ¼ is cotton grows in the central coastal region of Peru its a fibers are uniform in length.  The process enables it to be rebuked spinning and hairdos giving it excellent properties in uniformed consistency.  

Cotton PIMA grows in the northern coastal region of Peru, this fiber is very fine, which gives it excellent release and compares with the Egyptian cotton. The spinning of this fiber is extremely smooth, bright, and very fine, Peruvian fiber (PIMA can obtained the 80/1 such as Ne and 20/2 Ne, 8/4 Ne y 100/1 Ne.
